.COM , .NET .ORG domains
In general, there are 36 days grace period after the domain expiry date. During the grace period, the domain is inactive, customer may use the standard domain renewal fee to renew the domain.
After initial 36 days grace period, if there are Internet user who place domain BackOrder request to auction the domain, then the domain will goto the backorder/auction organization.
If no BackOrder placed, the domain will fall into the Redemption Grace Period. Redemption Grace Period will last for around 1 – 2 month. If customer would like to get back the domain in Redemption Grace Period, customer need to pay US$100 – US$250 domain redemption fee.
(It takes around 5 calendar days to process)
After Redemption Grace Period, domain will become PENDINGDELETE status. This status keeps for 5 calendar days. Then, the domain will be released to public.

In general, there are 30 days grace period after the domain expiry date. Customer may use the standard domain renewal fee to renew the .hk domain.
After the 30 days grace period, if customer would like to renew the domain, customer need to pay extra HK$200 late charge to HKDNR to reactivate the domain.

There are 15 days grace period for .CN based domain. In the grace period, the domain is inactive. Customer may use the standard .CN renewal fee to renew the domain.
After the 45 days initial grace period, the domain will fall into Redemption Grace Period. If customer would like to get back the domain in Redemption Grace Period, customer need to pay HK$1000 domain redemption fee. After the redemption grace period, the .CN domain is available for public registration.
